Obituary
Bernard “Bernie” Malina, age 91, beloved husband of Shelle nee Rubin; proud father of Candy Malina (Bob Hayman), Debbie Malina (Bill O’Donnell), Rhonda Malina (Norman Fox) and stepfather of Debbie (Michael) Borkovitz and David Richmond (Edie Sue Sutker); loving grandfather of Sula Malina, Ayal Zipris, Noam Zipris, Blake (Andrea) Borkovitz, Drew (Jessica Currie) Borkovitz, Danielle (Matt) Crescenti, Samantha (Colin) Whittie and their families. Bernie was a professor of mathematics in the Chicago City Colleges, a trained singer and a lover of music, chess, learning, theater and travel. Chapel service Friday 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
